Council members Mohamed Husny and Shiyaza Naeem participated in a transformative study tour organized by Live & Learn Maldives : USAID Ocean Plastic Reduction Activity. 11 islands participated in this tour held from January 28th to 30th at B.Eydhafushi. Participants convened to share insights on solid waste management best practices. The tour, spanning Eydhafushi, Kihaadhoo, and Dhonfan islands in B.Atoll, facilitated an exchange of knowledge on setup, machinery, and experiences in waste management. Culminating in a comprehensive action plan, participants are now geared for a collaborative effort in advancing sustainable waste solutions over the next two years.
